All is well...

Hi, friends! Just a brief update to let you know I'm safe. Yesterday's earthquakes hit Christchurch which is quite a distance from where I am in Taupo. Obviously this is not good for that city, especially since they've already been hit so hard this year. I will post more soon. Until then I wish you a very merry Christmas as we prepare to celebrate the nativity of Christ!

    Glad to hear you're okay. I looked it all up on a map and saw how far you were from Christchurch and thought "Oh good, she should be safe." I sent up a prayer anyway, because prayer is always a good idea. :)

    Mary: Merry Christmas and Have Fun from Uncle John and Family. All say hi and I'll have to admit I am a little jealous. I almost took a bike tour of the UK, and other parts approx 30+ years but never went through with it. You are getting memories for your life. Have fun, see and visit , excitement that's safe, and take care. Josie mentioned something re Asia, any ideas yet? I have always thought Tokyo would be a fine visit sumo wrestling and try puffer fish... but I still have very fond memories of London, and my hitchike in 1973 or 74 to the grand canyon down to the Havasu indian reservation. would not hitch-hike in US now. Be careful, see the world! Congrats and come home safe!!!
